Which brings us to the 'Liberation Theology' of Reverend Wright who apparently was influenced by the writings of James Hal Cone. Cone was apparently unable to accept 'White Christianity,' and proposed the theory that God was actually Black (and apparently, so were Jesus and The Holy Spirit). Interestingly, the Wik reference seems to have been modified since I read it last night. In the previous incarnation the piece quotes Cone as writing that '...if God was not black we would have had to kill Him...' Shades of Nietzsche, who quoted 'the ugliest man' as confessing that he was 'the murderer of God.' Cone apparently identified with The Ugliest Man in Thus Spake Zarathustra. He plagarized Neitzsche, knowing that an unsophisticated black readership would not recognize the sin. 'Reverend Right' - con artist that he is - fell for the concept and preached it. Other ignorant black 'reverend' con-artists must also have fallen into the same trap. Black Rage thereby acquired a white philosophy masquerading as black inspiration and became known as Black Liberation Theology, a misnomer.
Since this 'theology' is not popular in Africa, home of the 'black race,' we naturally wonder why it is so popular among African Americans. Do they see themselves as ugly? And if so, why? The answer is that, yes they do see themselves as ugly. The reason they see themselves as ugly is because they have been 'contaminated' with white genes, which have made them brown instead of black. Brown is the color of shit. That is their problem. It is an emotional problem totally unrelated to logic.
