Enter drugs. Drugs modify 'thought proceeses' by interfering with 'massive neural loops,' allowing individuals to experience new neural proceeses to which they would otherwise have been oblivious. The result is that 'change happens.' This produces new behavior. Most social and economic behavior is not affected because those 'neural loops' are so massive as to defy such change. But the 'neural loops' which have been weakened by 'doubt' (such as religious loops) are affected.
